Lynnwood's online reporting allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the report free.

Incident types available for online reporting:

  • Abandoned Vehicles
  • Grafitti (Tagging)
  • Harassing Phone Calls
  • Identity Theft
  • Lost Property
  • No-Injury Hit & Run Accidents
  • Theft
  • Theft from Vehicle/Vehicle Prowling
  • Vandalism

Please answer the following questions to continue with online reporting:

Is this an Emergency?     Yes    No
Did this incident occur WITHIN the City of Lynnwood?     Yes    No
Are there known suspects or evidence that could lead to the identification of a suspect?     Yes    No
Did this incident occur on I-5?     Yes    No
Do you have an email address?     Yes    No

Upon completion of this report process you will:

  • See the words: "Your report/supplemental has been submitted" showing that your report has been submitted for approval.
  • Be able to print a copy of your submitted report to keep for your records.
Please Note:
  • Filing a false police report is a Gross Misdemeanor crime (RCW 9A.84.404) punishable by up to one year in jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
  • All cases will be reviewed.
  • Once the report has been approved, a Lynnwood case number and a copy of the report will be emailed to you.
  • If, upon review, further investigation is needed, you may be contacted.
  • Reports that do not meet online reporting requirements will be rejected.
